About Us

Reef Photography was born in 2021. Yes! During a pandemic.
We have always wanted to have something of our own and actually, we create Reef thinking more of a touristic company who will work in All Inclusive resorts in Costa Rica.

Later on, we decided we wanted more, we have our first wedding and immediately fall in love with working with couples and documenting real love.
We really think being there for couples on (probably) the most important day of their lives is such a beautiful thing.

Our main goal is to capture candid, beautiful photos full of emotions where you can re live your big day.

María Muñoz

Hi there! My name is María and I was born in 1999, I have been a photographer ever since 2017.
My most favorite thing about weddings is probably the vows, seeing each other telling a lot of beautiful things always makes me want to cry.
I really enjoy capturing your big day and always feel it as if it was mine too.

Hello! My name is Alex and I was born in 1997, I have been a photographer since 2017.
I love taking photos of couples and seeing how happy they are together.
My most favorite thing it would probably be seeing the emotions when the wedding is about to begin, seeing the nerves but also the joy for the soon to be married couple.
